Happy March everyone! (One week late...)
I'd like to thank all of you for bearing with me the last few weeks. Our sweet second baby joined the world 3 weeks ago today, and I've been focusing on family and myself. Its time to direct some attention back toward all of you though, with a return to our weekly newsletter and new content on the website at https://southcentralvt.macaronikid.com/. I'm successfully re-learning how to do everything with one arm wrapped around Baby and its time to venture outside the nursery again!
So what's happening in our little corner of the world right now? Well, still lots of cold temperatures - but we're seeing more and more sunny days all the time. These next two days especially are supposed to be marked by sunshine and higher temps than we've seen in awhile, so grab the kids this weekend and enjoy it! Snowmobile season is quickly coming to an end, with the experts saying this may very well be the last good weekend for it of the year. Also this weekend is the official kick-off to maple syrup season, so for those of you whose stock is running low at home, you'll be refilling those stock piles in the coming weeks! Its amazing how easy it is to run through that stuff so quickly!! Several sugar houses around the state are offering tours right now, and if you've never seen the process in the action, this may be your moment.
