Top 'o the mornin' to ya! In case you forgot, St. Patrick's Day is this weekend, and is a great excuse to inject a little fun and mischief into your weekend plans. The annual St. Patrick's Day parade in St. Albans is sure to be a fun time for the whole family, but there are plenty of ways to enjoy the day a little closer to home. Check out the 3rd Annual Killington Irish Festival, run or walk in the Shiver Me Shamrocks 5K in Rutland, or break out the greens, golds and rainbows with some craft time in your own home. Irish or not, don some green and do a little jig!

Also on deck this week is the first day of Spring! Hooray!!! There is still plenty of snowy fun to be had at the higher elevations, but there is no denying that the temperatures are slowly climbing and the ice is beginning to thaw. This means plenty of mud, of course, but for the first time in weeks you might actually find the sidewalks and the surface of your own driveway, and the kids will be flocking to the parks and playgrounds before too long. It was a bit of rough week for many after losing an hour when we sprang forward last weekend, but having the sun up later in the evening was a bit of a welcome change.

Here's to another fun-filled week for all of you, and don't forget to spread the word about this great community resource to the other parents in your circle!
